Profile picture for Emily Downey

Emily Downey

Emily is a true crime enthusiast. As a child, her mom would read mystery novels aloud on long car rides and instilled that love for a good mystery in Emily. Her interest in unsolved disappearances started with Stephanie Crane, a 9-year-old who disappeared from Challis, ID on Oct. 11, 1993. Emily was also 9 at the time and the story really emphasized the fact that even in small towns evil is lurking.
